It’s that time of year when companies compile their top trends for the year ahead (who knows, I might even write one on this blog) so e-marketing company Exact Target has taken the views of 25 experts across a variety of marketing disciplines to produce a white paper called Inspired Marketing Predictions for 2013.
It’s worth a download (not only because I contributed!) to get a sense of what the main marketing themes will be next year. Yes, there’s the things you’d probably expect, like Big Data and the importance of imagery, but also some other thought-provoking ideas, such as regulatory threats and that email will make a comeback.
And my prediction? It’ll be the year that B2B social media comes of age.
