The people’s princess of running, Paul Radcliffe, has announced that she’s going to make her ‘comeback‘ at the Great North Run later in the month. Radcliffe’s a bit rusty, having last competed in 2005. If it was me, I’d be blogging my excuses in advance, but I’m sure she’s beyond that.

At the risk of sounding like a complete bore, I had the pleasure of meeting Paula Radcliffe in 2001 on They Think It’s All Over as part of the ‘feel the sportsman‘ round. Unfortunately, I had David Gower and Jonathan Ross groping around my ironing board.

Well good luck to Paula, even if They Think It’s All Over was hardly the highlight of her television career (she looked utterly bored).
