Doh, I’ve been tagged!

I’ve been “tagged” by Cathy, the queen of jogging and blogging. I can’t believe I’ve been suckered into doing this, but she’s now persuaded (bullied) me into tagging a bunch of other people. It feels a bit like one of those good luck chain emails, but at least I get to pass the annoyance onto five other people.
First things first, five random facts about me:
- I started a sport called extreme ironing a few years ago, which spawned a world championships, a documentary on Channel 4 and a book. It’s got a life of its own now, which dozens of Facebook groups and clips on YouTube. People obviously like ironing outdoors.
- My favourite sandwhich is peanut butter and salad. It sounds wrong, but don’t judge until you’ve tried one.
- I’m just a pretend northerner. I was born in Kent and brought up in Hastings on the south coast.
- My favourite cafe is Pete’s Eats in Llanberis. Try the Spanish Omlette. Or just have a pint of tea.
- I wear New Balance trainers (well I thought I ought to put something running related on here)
My nominations are:
- Armgard - coz she whipped me at the triathlon.
- David - I used to work with him. Now he writes about squids, and other things.
- Jo - like Armgard, she’s much better at cycling, running and swimming than me.
- Stephen - techy PR bod. Clever chap.
- Geoff - started the Leicester Comedy Festival years ago. It’s still going and keeps the city laughing every February.
Here’s the rules:
- Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
- Share 5 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
- Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
- Let them know they are TAGGED by leaving a comment on their blog.
So, there you have it. I’ve got to go now and help a Nigerian prince, who just needs a hand with some problems with a bank account.
