I’m now what they call ‘in between jobs’, having finished up at my agency and have a few weeks off before starting up in London. Apart from having to find somewhere to live, I’ve got a two week cycling holiday and the Derby 10k to run before then.

I’m not particularly prepared for either. My back’s still pretty sore so the cycle’s more of a worry and I’m far less running fit than I was a last year. That all said, I’ve got some time to do something about it, so have been cycling and running in the last couple of days and will head to the gym today. And if that doesn’t work, I’ve got loads of boxes to hump around as I cut and paste my life somewhere new.
